Your Kindness Matters!
Thank You “NED”!
Our Pirates had so much fun learning about NED’s three important life skills (Never Give Up, Encourage Others, and Do Your Best) while watching some amazing yo-yo tricks and magic tricks! You can continue the conversation at home by visiting The NED Show’s website for more fun activities!
Thanks for visiting our school, NED!
Congratulations To Our “Holiday Challenge” Winners!
Thank you ALL for your positive behavior this month!
A special shout-out to our TOP FIVE classes who earned the most Christmas lights on their Christmas trees this month: Mrs. Volk’s class, Mrs. Deems’ class, Mrs. Tucker’s class, Mrs. Sedlacek’s class, and Mrs. Williams’ class!

The NED Show Is Coming!
The NED Show is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance: Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best. During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.
Thank You Pirate Families!
A huge “Thank You!” to all of the wonderful Pirate families who provided a delicious staff breakfast (complete with donut tree and hot chocolate bar) during our December professional development meeting. Many families and community members came together to gift our teachers with supplies for their classrooms. We truly appreciate our Pirate community and all that they do!
The PBIS Holiday Challenge!
To promote positive behavior this holiday season, Cardington-Lincoln Elementary School kicked-off our “Holiday Challenge” on December 1st! Each class received a Christmas tree to display outside of their room. Classes can earn Christmas lights for their trees by displaying respectful, responsible, and ready behavior during their specials classes and lunch blocks this month. The top five classes at the end of the month with the most lights on their trees will earn a special activity prize!
Families, you can continue the conversation at home by brainstorming what respectful, responsible, and ready behavior might look like at school during the month of December! Check out our “Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports” page for more information about our school’s PBIS framework.
