2020-2021 Cardington-Lincoln Elementary Kindergarten Registration and Screenings 

The Cardington-Lincoln Elementary School is now making appointments for Kindergarten screenings and registration for students that will enter kindergarten in the 20-21 school year.  Appointments will be held Tuesday, April 21st and Thursday, April 23rd from 9am -5pm. Please call the Elementary office to schedule an appointment.

Kindergarten Admission Requirements and Required Documents At Time of Screening:

  • Your child must be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2020
  • Custodial parent/guardian MUST be present at registration/screening
  • Custodial parent/guardian government issued photo ID
  • Your child’s original birth certificate must be presented at time of screening
  • Court or custody documents (if applicable) must be presented at time of screening
  • State immunization requirements must be completed and documentation (shot record)
  • Proof of residency; mortgage/rental statement, utility bill (not a cable or cell phone bill) 
  • Completed registration forms and emergency medical forms, a packet will be MAILED to you after an appointment has been scheduled

All needed documentation and forms must be presented at your scheduled screening time, if not presented you will need to reschedule your appointment.

Cardington-Lincoln Schools are now enrolling preschool students for the 2020-21 school year. If your child will be at least 3 years old by August 1st, 2020, you live in the Cardington-Lincoln Local School District, and you are interested in sending your child to preschool, please call the elementary school office at 419-864-6692 to set up a screening appointment.

Screenings are currently being scheduled for March 20th and April 17th. Please bring your child’s birth certificate, shot records, parent/guardian photo ID, custody documents and proof of residence (must be utility bill (not cable or cell phone), mortgage, or lease).

Appointments will take approximately thirty minutes, and will allow you to learn about preschool options. Preschool is Monday-Thursday, either morning or afternoon. Priority for enrollment is given to students who are age 4 by August 1, 2020. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Congratulations To Our Grades 4-8 Top Spellers!

Our top spellers for the night were AJ Brehm and runner up Ky Barlow. The top ten spellers will go on to complete at the Morrow County Spelling Bee at Northmor High School on January 23rd at 7pm.

The Pals of Pirates and the Cardington Elementary are hosting a Chemistry Night on January 16th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in the Elementary Cafeteria. Come and join them for a free meal (hotdog, chips, veggies) and a bubbling, fizzing, smoking, exploding good time!

Registration and screenings for kindergarten students entering school for the 2019-2020 school year will take place April 23 and April 25 9am-5pm by appointment only. Please contact the Elementary office at 419-864-6692 to schedule your appointment.

Proof of residency: a utility bill such as water or electric (not a cable or cell phone bill), lease agreement or mortgage statement

All required documents must be presented at time of the appointment, if not provided we are unable to screen your child and you will be rescheduled for another date.

Cardington teachers and staff are excited to start a new school year and look forward to seeing students at open house on Thursday, August 23rd.  Open house will times will be as follows:

Elementary: 5-7pm

Middle School 1-3pm and 5-7pm

High School 5-7pm
